Delete Your Data
BrainClean · Last updated: 28 October 2026
Short version. BrainClean does not require an account and does not store your data on our servers. Everything the App keeps — your tasks, settings, and the apps you chose to block — lives only on your device, and you can delete it at any time using the steps below.
1. Delete your data from your device
You can remove your data in any of these ways:
- Delete individual tasks — open the App and delete any pending task.
- Clear all App data — go to Android Settings → Apps → BrainClean → Storage → Clear storage. This permanently removes all your tasks, settings, and blocking selections.
- Uninstall the App — uninstalling removes everything the App stored on your device.
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may keep a copy of the App’s data in your own Google account. We have no access to that backup. You can manage or delete it in your Google account’s backup settings.
2. Accounts from earlier versions
Earlier versions of BrainClean required an account (an email address and password, or Google Sign-In) and stored tasks on our servers. All of those accounts, and the tasks and other data stored for them, have already been deleted. You do not need to do anything.
3. Data you sent us by email
If you have emailed us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to answer you. To have it deleted, email support@brainclean.app from the same address with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will delete your messages and confirm by reply.
